Bonnie McCoy

October 30, 2023

Bonnie McCoy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge Friday, October 30, 2023.

This picture of Bonnie laying on her favorite cat named Henry, they were very close and had a special tie, as Bonnie was like a mother to Henry.

Bonnie traveled everywhere with us, she loved to go on trips short or long.  She just lit up when she was traveling.  She loved to be with her parents at all times. The entire family loved Bonnie and she did not want to leave our side especially my wife’s, We also gave her the nickname “Bonnie the Traveling Dog”.  My wife rescued her on a cold night in  December as she was on the side of the road. From the very first night in December 2010 until she went to sleep for good on 30 October 2023, she slept at the foot of our bed.  My wife and I both know that God sent her to us that night, because she was a perfect fit for our family.  We took care of her and she took care of us.  We are truly going to miss her for now.  My wife and I both believe that we will be reunited with Bonnie in the Earth made New:  Isaiah 65:25.  We can’t wait.
“The intelligence displaced by many dumb animals approaches so closely to human intelligence that it is a mystery.  The animals see and hear, and love and fear and suffer.  They use their organs far more faithfully than many human beings use theirs.  They manifest sympathy and tenderness toward their companions in suffering.  Many animals show an affection for those who have charge of them, far superior to the affection, shown by some of the human race.  They form attachments for man which are not broken without great suffering to them.”  This comes from the book Ministry of Healing page 315 paragraph 3.

Burial arrangements entrusted to Triad Pet Cremation and Cemetery, Greensboro, NC.
